Why Not Remodel’s goal is to accomplish this for you as a third party, with no vested interest or commissions from any outside individuals or companies.
Decision Making
Sometimes remodeling may not be the right decision. The cost for the remodeling may exceed the value of the property. There is nothing worst than to invest more into a home than the surround neighborhood’s value will return if you someday needed to sell the house.
In some cases selling the house and moving to a house that exists and fits your needs is a more cost effective decision. Remodeling your home to meet the needs of a growing family or adding on the house to accommodate a home office, could be more expensive than an affordable home located near by that is comparable to your needs.
In extreme cases, where the age of the home and infrastructure of the dwelling will not hold up to modern constructions, a complete rebuild may be a more affordable solution.
Lets face it, sometimes the location of your home in the community just cannot be replaced. The area you reside could be perfect and moving to another area would be more expensive and more importantly, more disruptive to personal and family’s lifestyles.
So, Why Not Remodel?

Remodel:
If remodeling is the direction, WNR helps in providing experience in what can be done and what cannot. Once the concept of the renovation is outlined I sit with the architect and draft out a rough floor plan with elevations showing how the remodel will look once it is finished. Once the final design is scratched out of the rough design, I have the final drawing made up for the homeowner to use to take bids from general contractors. If needed, I can evaluate the bids, check contractors references, review their work and provide an assessment of the bids and make a recommendation on which contractor offers the best deal. I can also oversee the project and make sure the general contractors and all sub-contractors work to a high quality standard.
Move:
If the decision is to prepare the house for a move, WNR make full Home Infrastructure Inspection and prepare a detailed list of all items in the house that will need to be repaired so the full value of the house can be obtained. I will facilitate that all repairs are made.
Rebuild:
If the house is to be completely renovated or completely rebuilt, WNR will oversee the process from the floor plan and architectural prints being drafted to the final inspection with the general contractor.

If you are like most homeowners, your time is valuable and the time spent fining the best general contractor for the job can take a lot of time. Plus, general contractors usually are very good at what they do but not the best in translating effectively what they do to the homer owner. I speak their language and communicate the your needs and wants to them, and more importantly..make sure they do the job right.
… as your advisor on what can and cannot be done. Many times a city ordinance, building code or zoning will not allow for the desired remodel to be done easily. I will advise you, the homeowner, of what the city and the building codes will allow to be done. I will also advise on the process to ask for a variance of a zoning or building code to achieve the remodel or renovation needs.
